I remember as a young lad that the Lawton family used to stay at the beach house next to ours at Aldinga, south of Adelaide and I have vague memories of Tina herself. I have a cassette, that I have ripped, of Tina on the Interludes programme that she gave to my parents. Is anyone interested? Its about 70 minutes long.michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01585582969323242230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8285972952988060123.post-31756172000618414052014-12-05T09:45:55.217+11:002014-12-05T09:45:55.217+11:00Thanks for posting this album. While listening to this album I did some searching on the internet and found out that Tina Lawton was part of the Four Capitals Folk Song Concert Tour in August 1964. Others on that tour included Marian Henderson, Duke Triton, Martyn Wyndham-Reed and Lenore Somerset. More importantly a live LP was released entitled Australian Folk Festival. It is obviously out of print and unlikely to have ever been re released on CD. My question is...Does anyone have a copy who would be prepared to post it to this site? I believe it would be well worth listening to. Thanks again for the great work you do in bringing this genre of Australian music to the attention of the world.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8285972952988060123.post-18419006992401627662014-11-24T03:22:02.794+11:002014-11-24T03:22:02.794+11:00Thank you Stocks - as always very appreciated!Thank you Stocks - as always very appreciated!Halewijnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17475719317730287692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8285972952988060123.post-10060405829816384282014-11-23T10:25:20.462+11:002014-11-23T10:25:20.462+11:00Thank you, Beautiful songs and a beautiful voice.Thank you, Beautiful songs and a beautiful voice.lugwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12234121877398795178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8285972952988060123.post-86975607235886757762014-11-23T02:35:13.128+11:002014-11-23T02:35:13.128+11:00Thank you, very interested in this one.Thank you, very interested in this one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
